Sweetland Associates Ltd was founded in 1999 by director Paul Sweetland. Sweetland Associates Ltd is a firm of independent financial advisers based in Newport, South Wales. We provide advice to both individuals and companies on all aspects of financial planning, through a long term approach of fully understanding our clients' needs, wants and aspirations and then prioritising objectives.
Paul Sweetland
Paul began his financial services career with Pearl Assurance in Cardiff in 1987 as a District Agent rising to Section Manager. After leaving Pearl, Paul worked as an Appointed Representative for Eagle Star between 1993 - 1997 before becoming an Independent Financial Adviser with the Principality Building Society. Paul then moved to the Newport firm Underwood Insurance Services as their IFA before establishing Sweetland Associates in 1999.
Louise Cook - Administrator
Louise joined the company in 2002 and is responsible for the office administration, client communication and compliance procedures. Louise is also a competent book keeper and treasurer of her local social club.
Debbie Robinson - Administrator
Debbie joined the company in 2000 after working for Royal Liver Assurance. Debbie is responsible for new business administration, processing and office administration.
Gillian Sweetland - Company Secretary
Gillian joined the company in 2003 and has overall responsibility for accounts and book keeping responsibilities.
